St Joseph’s prides itself on the incredible extra-curricular opportunities on offer throughout the school year. Highlighting our dedication to educating the whole person. We promote many rich and diverse opportunities in The Arts, Health & Physical Education and Critical, Innovative Thinking.
Evidence of these initiatives’ are our students’ achievements in Junior Band, Senior Band, Junior Choir, Senior Choir, Instrumental Music Program and Dance Troupe.
St Joseph’s Netball Club, KM Club, St Joseph’s Athletics Club, Futsal Team, Physical Culture, Basketball and Cricket initiatives are opportunities for our students. We engage QLD development officers and local sporting clubs to offer Tennis Lessons and various coaching opportunities like AFL and Soccer. Student participation in Interschool Sport and Gala Days, District and Zone Carnivals, as well as our own School Carnivals. Throughout your child’s education, they have the opportunity to explore many different sporting opportunities.
Our ongoing partnership with University of Queensland promotes our Robotics, Coding and Technology initiatives. School participation in Tournament of the Minds, Brain Raiders, ICT Explorers, Chess Club, Minecraft Club, STEM projects and Interschool opportunities enables our talented students the opportunity to shine as critical thinkers. St Joseph’s high quality facilities ensure we have many, many opportunities to offer to our students.
